Advisory & Hands-On Support
Senior expertise, when and where you need it.
What this engagement looks like
Not every security need fits neatly into a defined program. Sometimes you need a senior expert available for specific questions, decisions, or situations, without committing to a full engagement.
Advisory support gives you direct access to senior expertise on a flexible basis. This might mean joining your architecture reviews, evaluating a vendor's security claims, reviewing a contract's security requirements, or providing a second opinion on a decision your team is wrestling with.
This is also the right model for ongoing support after a larger engagement, maintaining continuity without the overhead of a full retainer.
This is for you if...
- Organizations that have an internal security function but need senior escalation support
- Companies facing a specific decision or situation that requires outside expertise
- Clients from prior engagements who want to maintain continuity
This is not...
“Organizations looking for a full security program from scratch. For that, the vCISO or assessment engagement is the right starting point.”
Frequently asked
How does advisory support work practically?
We agree on a monthly allocation of hours. Within that, you reach out as needed: for calls, reviews, or written input. Unused hours don't roll over, but we scope based on realistic usage.
What's the minimum engagement?
Advisory typically runs a minimum of three months. Shorter situations are better handled as a defined project.
