The founding story
Vlanemo was founded on a straightforward premise: most security consultants have never held operational responsibility for a security program. They've never been the person in the room when a breach happens, or had to defend a program to a board, or built controls with a team of three people and a limited budget.
This firm exists to offer something different: a practitioner who has done those things, applied directly to your situation. No junior consultants working off a methodology. No findings reports that sit unread. Just direct work on the problems that matter.
Background
The work spans more than 15 years across IT infrastructure, security operations, and leadership roles including CISO-equivalent functions. Industries include technology, financial services, insurance, and regulated markets.
Vlanemo is a continuation of that experience in a structure that allows direct engagement, without the overhead that comes with larger firms.
